Why coat metal?
LITONG products are exported globally, focusing on quality. Our mission is to deliver more enhanced high value-added products to our customers. Together, let's create a better future.
Aluminum coils and galvanized steel strips undergo a dual coating and baking process in specialized lines to ensure both high durability and an attractive look. Exterior-grade panels utilize PVDF Kynar 500 fluorocarbon coating, while interior-grade panels are finished with a polyester coating.
Benefits
PU Roller
Suitable for complete coating; offers a matted surface effect and can replicate wooden granite patterns. Coating thickness can vary. Minor impurities don’t easily lead to surface defects.
Chromate Roller
Ideal for thinner coils. The coated surface has a high gloss and is delicate. This roller is abrasion-resistant, sustainable, and has lower maintenance costs.

Color-coated aluminum coil is a product obtained by applying color to the surface of an aluminum coil. Due to its high cost-effectiveness, it finds extensive use in aluminum ceilings, roof surfaces, scrap steel, cans, aluminum veneer curtain walls, and other industries. Besides its cost advantage, does this product offer other benefits?
Color-coated aluminum coils exude a tangible physical hierarchy, imparting a sense of freshness and elegance. Furthermore, colors can be tailored to meet specific needs of enterprise customers, ensuring high-quality decorative material performance.
The raw materials used in this product are selected for their high quality, ensuring superior product reliability. It performs excellently under various working pressures and environmental conditions without bending, deformation, or shell expansion, offering a high application effect.
Aluminum coil coatings primarily focus on anti-corrosion features. Below are different methods for coating aluminum coils.
Brush coating is a traditional manual method, known for its simplicity and flexibility. It allows application on various shapes and enables the paint to penetrate the metal surface, enhancing adhesion. Its downsides include high labor intensity and difficulties in achieving a uniform finish.
Scratch coating is unsuitable for automotive applications and is mainly used for high-viscosity liquid coatings. Common issues with this method are cracking, detachment, and uneven thickness of the coating.
This traditional Chinese method involves immersing the object in a paint solution. Excess paint can be either dripped back into the tank or mechanically removed. This technique has environmental implications due to solvent loss and can lead to inconsistent coating thickness.
In spray coating, paint is propelled from a nozzle onto the object, forming a consistent coating film. While equipment is simple and production is relatively easy, the coating may lack uniform smoothness and often requires additional solvents, which can introduce pollution issues.
Spraying uses compressed air to project paint onto the object. The paint is atomized and creates a mist that ensures even coverage. This method requires paints with lower viscosity, suited for various architectural coatings and industrial applications.
